What is Rec Soccer?
The Centennial Soccer Club presents our Summer Recreational Soccer program in partnership with Centennial Schools Community Education.  For all boys and girls who are entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade in the Fall.  We want to foster boys and girls to develop their love for soccer in a fun, community based atmosphere!  Practice time has a focus on age-appropriate training teaching the basics of the game.  Games are fun and everyone plays and learns together.  All teams led by volunteer parent coaches guided by the Centennial Soccer Club.

Schedule
Wednesdays & Sundays May 20-July 12, 2026
(no soccer for holidays May 24, July 1, July 5)

Wednesday Practices between 5-8 pm dependent on team
Sunday Games between 3-6 pm dependent on team
Each Practice and Game are one hour long

Age Levels
We are offering separate Boys and Girls leagues for Grades K-3 if numbers allow (new this year!).  Grades 4-5 will be co-ed.  The Grade is the one your child is entering in the Fall, not your current Grade.  Our intention is to offer these groups, but we reserve the right to combine grades and/or genders based on registration numbers if needed.

What to Bring
Soccer Ball (size 3 for grades K/1 and size 4 for grades 2-5)
Shin guards (worn under soccer socks)
Cleats
Water Bottle
Any weather appropriate gear per conditions

Jersey
All players will receive a Centennial Soccer Club jersey.  Wear jersey to all Games.  Please indicate size when registering.

Coaching
The Rec program is powered by volunteer parent coaches.  Please consider coaching!  It is a powerful way to help foster learning and fun with your child and his/her teammates.  Coaches (2 per team) who complete a full season of coaching will be refunded their entry fees at the conclusion of the season.

Friends
Soccer is more fun with friends!  Have your child invite their friends to play too!  You can request people to be on the same team with your child in the registration.  We will do our absolute best to fulfill all friend requests, but we cannot guarantee that every request will be fulfilled.  

SportsEngine App
Upon team formation you will be added to SportsEngine, which powers our scheduling and rostering.  You will be prompted to download the free SportsEngine (SE) App, which will contain your team page with the schedule, team chat, contact information, and more.  Everything will be posted/communicated there.
