U14B Cougars Take 2nd in Eau Claire Invitational

Minimize

The Centennial Cougars U14 C1 Boys had an awesome tournament at the Eau Claire Invitational taking 2nd place in a U14/U15 age bracket. They played some excellent soccer outscoring their opponents to make it to the championship game. The team gave it their all with a couple injuries starting the championship game and losing their main goalie due to some rough play during the game. The boys are coached by Randy Hanson, Jim Schwaab and Tim McLafferty. We were told by the tournament officials that if they had a sportsmanship award our boys would have been in the running. This says a lot for our players and makes you feel privileged to be part of the Centennial Soccer Club. This is a great group of boys our parents have raised and we should all be proud that they are part of our community.
